MONTANUS - The Wild Side

THEY WILL BE WITH US ON STAGE TO PRESENT THEIR MOVIE "TRAMONTANA"
Montanus is a coin with two sides: on one side there is the journey, the exploration and the tent pitched at edge of the world; on te other side there is the anti-rhetoric and the sympathy of two guys who first of all want to have fun, to tell stories, to share a passion, sometimes reversing the pomposity of marketing of large companies.
If you read the website, Montanus presents itself as a bikepacking project in all seasons. As an attitude, an inner journey. As the scent of musk on the gloves, dry red mud on the bike, the ice on the sleeping bag. As life outside the "comfort zone", inspiration for those seeking direct contact with nature. As a trip with a slow pace needed to enjoy the scents and colors.

I-VIEW - Claudio Rossoni

Thanks to his perseverance, the Italian Simone Moro has come to write pages on the history of mountaineering, especially in winter, on peaks over 8000 meters. I-VIEW tells his new adventure as a helicopter pilot and his dream of bringing the helicopter in the Himalayas.

CROSSING HOME

For travellers, life on the road ultimately winds to an end, and the compass points towards home. Chad Sayers and Forrest Coots go back to the beginning - British Columbia. Embarking on a 3 week expedition, they boat, bushwack, ski, and packraft the spine of the Coast mountains. From interior plateau, steep chutes and over the Homathko Icefield, to the lush, carpeted coastal inlets of the Pacific coast. What is the meaning of home?

NO MAN'S LAND - Davide Calafa

A place that still is ruled by the strong nature, surrounded by the ocean and his creature, a place that doesn’t belong to any man. Free place. No man’s land.

Two new Italians which tell, in parallel, their story and the story of their amazing family. TRAILER YEMA E NEKA

"Wee Day Out" explores the rural landscape around Edinburgh in a film that sets out to capture the simple fun of a ride in the country with moments of incredible riding and a touch of humor.

Danny pulls off never-seen-before tricks, most of which would normally be assumed impossible on a mountain bike, like leaping onto a single train track, turning a hay bale into a giant unicycle, riding over a cottage, and disappearing into a 6ft puddle.

TRAMONTANA - Montanus

The Tramontana is not only the cold, dry wind that blows from the north, bringing with it snow and cold temperatures. In ancient times the term Transmontanus (trans + montanus) is indicated what was beyond the mountains, unknown, dangerous and barbaric. "Tramontana" is a journey through the human ancestral fears and primal virtue of the Fire, the natural element that since the mists of time allowed him to defeat the dark, cold, isolation and wild animals. A tribute to the wild and genuine human side, which is lost in the origins of our history.

Tramontana was filmed on the plateau of the Gran Sasso of Italy, in Abruzzo. Filmed and mounted in complete autonomy by Giorgio Frattale and Francesco D'Alessio.
